COVID-19 Important Update: Courses & Dive Activities Back On!

A Message To Our Customers

It has been very challenging these last few months, during the unprecedented spread of the coronavirus pandemic around the world. One of the difficult but sensible decisions we had to make was the suspension of all our courses and diving operations. As a dive shop this meant that a large part of our work (and our passion!) was put on hold for an indefinite time.

Now that the lock down has begun to dissipate, we are pleased to announce that we are able to resume our courses and diving activities, with some important COVID-19 related changes. The health, safety, and wellbeing of our staff, customers, family, and friends remains our top priority going forward with any services we provide and we are only able to be confident in resuming our diving operations in a safe manner, with guidance and advice from PADI, Divers Alert Network (DAN), BC Ministry of Health, Vancouver Coastal Health. and other Scuba Diving Agencies.

The changes and guidelines we have implemented can be seen in a full document we have prepared detailing our approach for COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Safety Guidance and Policies for Returning to Dive & Teaching Activities. This document is available to read below.

We are very aware that we still need to be flexible and be prepared to adapt to any future potential changes in the current situation. We will endeavour to keep you up-to-date as the situation develops and welcome any and all input and feedback from you on our approach to ensuring the safest possible resumption of this sport that we all love.

We hope that you all are doing very well and we are looking forward to seeing you soon back in the water!

All the best
Rowand’s Reef
