Happy New Year from the Rowand's Reef Dive Team!
You are invited to join us for our first ever Rescue Course Refresher workshop day. This is our first community event of 2025, and we are excited to have you along.
This free workshop is for current Rescue Divers, Advanced Open Water divers who are thinking of doing a Rescue course in the future, and professional level divers who want to refresh their skills. We will be covering basic self rescue skills (Dive #1 of the Rescue course), along with the "Unresponsive Diver on the Surface" (Ex #7) skill. This cornerstone skill is visited again in the Divemaster and Instructor courses.
We will have instructors on hand to guide your day, and you walk away with core skills refreshed or learned.
The workshop will take place Saturday, January 25th at Cate's Park in Deep Cove from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
