The D1X is part of the new generation of amazing and unique Insulated Constant Volume Drysuits, developed and patented a couple of years ago. There is, so far, no followers from competitors to match these unique features. At Waterproof we have always been keen on keeping up with the latest materials and developments and the D1X is the result of this.

The outer fabric of D1X is made of soft, flexible, and strong Polytech 500 Tri-Lam fabric. The patented system of D1X includes a detachable, integrated 3D Mesh inner lining – a soft and flexible material with outstanding insulation. The suit is equipped with a metal dry zipper with zipper cover, SI TECH Quick Neck System with Warm Neck, SI TECH QCS Oval Ring System with Warm Cuffs, Silicone seals for neck and wrists, heavy-duty expandable pockets, and SI TECH valves. The unique Warm Neck and Cuff system is keeping the diver warmer, due to reduced water movement, and also protects the seals.

All parts of the suit concerning mobility have been anatomically designed to enhance the freedom of movement. The suit has DuPont™ Kevlar® fiber reinforced knee pads, a seam-free crotch area reinforced with heavy-duty Cordura®, and an anti-slip seat for grip and abrasion protection – all this to ensure an excellent durable, and comfortable drysuit.

It might very well be wrong to call Nord a successor to our huge success, the WarmTec. Nord is so much more! Nord is a gender-specific, anatomically sculpted undergarment, designed to keep you warm and dry in the most demanding environments. Whether you need a 200g (Nord) or a 300g (Nord X), breathable and water-resistant undergarment, Nord will do the work.

It has pre-compressed padding in environmentally friendly DuPont™ Sorona®* padding with a quilted lining. The material has a 4-way stretch for great movability plus gusseted crotch and armpits making valve drills a walk in the park. Cordura reinforced knees & elbows, zippered hip pockets lined with soft fleece, and a chest pocket for smaller items. All pockets are equipped with easy-grip zip-pullers.

The back has an elastic waistband to give you a snug fit. Arms are equipped with neoprene wrist cuffs to keeps you warm and dry if the unexpected should happen, a vented shoulder panel, the lower legs have a more snug-fit shape, the low-profile neck collar is made of soft fleece material with a Velcro closing. The male version is equipped with a longer two-way zipper for easier access. Preinstalled outlets for P-valve hose on both sides.

There are many dry glove systems available in the market for advanced drysuit divers. We tested them all and analyzed the pros and cons of each system, trying to find ways to improve and adjust an existing, decent working model into a better-performing system. Our criteria are that it has to be easy to mount, dependable, not too bulky, and fit into the existing Waterproof arm design.

We found a 20-year-old patented system that matched our criteria. We evaluated it and worked on a solution. The company that owns the patent was willing to listen to our ideas and work with us to improve and manufacture the resulting design. The result is the new Ultima Dry Glove Ring System. It fits directly in all* Waterproof Drysuits with Integrated Silicone Seals, ISS. And it can also be mounted to all drysuits with fixed latex seals. The gloves are easy to mount before diving. You can see, hear, and feel when the ring connects properly or when you disconnect it. This system is as close to “foolproof” as it gets! The solid rings on the suit and gloves can easily be mounted in advance. The Ultima system can be attached to all drysuit latex seals to achieve a complete dry glove system.

*The Ultima Dry Glove System does not fit directly into size 3XL, 3XL/t+ due to larger wrist rings. For these sizes, we recommend the Quick Glove system from SI TECH.

One set contains two suit rings, two glove rings, O-rings, two silicone covers, a lubricant, and a Combi Tool.

Gloves and silicone seals are not included.
